Dear New Patient,
We want to find out exactly what is going on with you.
We begin with some basic paperwork that explains details about you and your health.
We sit and talk about you. This consultation is your opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to the matter.
A physical exam will be performed which may include orthopedic testing, reflex assessments, muscle testing, and a specific chiropractic evaluation.
If I believe that I can help you and you are a chiropractic case, I will give you some kind of treatment, usually the same day.
Adjustments should not be painful, although you may feel some discomfort until the pressure in the joint is relieved. I have many techniques that will be suited to your particular situation. We also have therapies which help your body relax and heal that may be used with the adjustment.
In some cases x-rays may be necessary to determine an exact diagnosis. If needed, I will send you to the closest facility which is usually Fontaine Medical Center.
With followup visits I will review more details if needed, and you will receive recommendations on treatment frequency with home care that will speed you to the best and quickest recovery.
